The Mico Foundation is supervised by a nine-member Board of Directors. Members to the Board of Directors are drawn in equal number from the Trustees, The University College and the Alumni Association (MOSA. There are two (2) ex-officio members, one of whom is the President of The Mico and the other a member of The Lady Mico Trustees resident in Jamaica, or if not, a person named by the Trustees. A Director is elected to serve for three (3) years in the first instance and is eligible to be re-elected to serve for a maximum of two (2) additional three (3) years term. The only exceptions are the Chancellor of The Mico who shall serve for the duration of being Chancellor. The resident Trustee of The Lady Mico Trust, who shall serve as ex-officio member for the duration of his/her being Trustee, The President of The Mico who shall serve as ex-officio member for the duration of his/her tenure as President.
A workforce of seven-team members led by the Secretary Manager manages the daily affairs of The Mico Foundation. The staff is guided by the vision and mission of the Foundation and is committed to provide the necessary support to ensure the highest quality service and the success of the projects that are undertaken. The entrenched values of accountability, transparency, integrity and partnership are defining measures by which the staff conducts the business of the Foundation.
